On October 23, Shenzhen Sunwoda Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (“Sunwoda Energy”) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Gryphon Energy Pty Ltd. (“Gryphon Energy”) at All Energy Australia 2024.
The project, located in Queensland, Australia, has a capacity of 1.6 GWh and is one of the largest storage projects in Australia. The project is scheduled for delivery and grid connection in 2026. Once operational, the project will significantly enhance the stability, reliability, and flexibility of the power grid in the state and across Australia.
Given the project’s large scale and complex management requirements, its standard for the grid support and operational services is really high. Sunwoda Energy will utilize its self-developed 314Ah battery cells in the NoahX 5MWh liquid-cooling energy storage system, employing industry-leading Reverse DC coupling technology to provide customers with more reliable and customized energy storage system solutions to achieve high-quality project delivery.
