Production:
In November, the total production of power and other batteries in China reached 117.8 GWh, marking a month-on-month (MoM) increase of 4.2% and a year-on-year (YoY) increase of 33.3%.
From January to November, the cumulative production of power and other batteries in China amounted to 965.3 GWh, representing a YoY increase of 37.7%. By the end of 2024, the cumulative production of power and other batteries in China is expected to exceed 1 TWh.
Installed Capacity:
In November, the installed capacity of power batteries in China reached 67.2 GWh, with a MoM increase of 13.5% and a YoY increase of 49.7%.
Among them, the installed capacity of ternary batteries was 13.6 GWh, accounting for 20.2% of the total, with a MoM increase of 11.6% and a YoY decrease of 13.5%. And the installed capacity of LFP batteries was 53.6 GWh, accounting for 79.7% of the total, with a MoM increase of 14.0% and a YoY increase of 84.0%.
From January to November, the cumulative installed capacity of power batteries in China reached 473.0 GWh, showing a YoY increase of 39.2%.
Among them, the cumulative installed capacity of ternary batteries was 124.7 GWh, accounting for 26.4% of the total, with a YoY increase of 13.7%; while that of LFP batteries was 348.0 GWh, accounting for 73.6% of the total, with a YoY increase of 51.5%.
