On September 5th, the latest data released by SNE Research, the South Korean market research firm, showed that the total global EV battery shipments in July of this year were approximately 57.7 GWh, representing a month-on-month decrease of 12.4% and an year-on-year increase of 43.2%. From January to July of this year, the total global EV battery shipments were 362.9 GWh, representing a 49.2% increase compared to the same period last year, which had 243.2 GWh.
The top 10 companies in global EV battery shipments from January to July were: CATL, BYD, LGES, Panasonic, SK on, CALB, Samsung SDI, EVE, Gotion and Sunwoda.
