According to the latest statistics from South Korean SNE Research, in January 2024, the installed capacity of power batteries for electric vehicles (including pure electric, plug-in hybrid, and hybrid) in global markets excluding China was approximately 22.2GWh, representing a year-on-year increase of 30.1%.

Among the top 10 companies in terms of installed capacity in overseas markets during the period, CATL surpassed LG Energy Solution to claim the top spot. CALB, BYD, and Farasis Energy ranked in the top three in terms of year-on-year growth, demonstrating the strong momentum of Chinese battery companies as a whole.

It is worth noting that Chinese battery companies collectively held a market share of 34.2% in overseas installed capacity, indicating that the market share of Chinese battery companies in overseas markets has exceeded one-third.
