The two parties will collaborate to advance the production of high-performance batteries under the V4Smart brand, which are key components of the high-performance hybrid system T-Hybrid.
Porsche Equipment Manufacturing Ltd. has begun providing substantial support for the mass production of batteries at the Ellwangen plant, which will be used in the new 911 GTS model. The new factory in Nördlingen is also set to commence production in April. By the end of this year, the total number of employees at both plants is expected to reach 375.
