Recently, Honda R&D Technologies (China) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Honda China”) officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with CATL to deepen their collaboration. Building on their existing partnership, the two parties will further cooperate in areas such as new technology R&D and supply chain management, driving product and technological innovation to inject new momentum into advancements in user experience.

A key focus of this enhanced collaboration will be comprehensive upgrades in lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, Cell to Body (CTB) integration technology, supply chain optimization, and the development of 12V and hybrid batteries, aiming to accelerate the advancement of the new energy vehicle industry. In the future, the two companies will also explore new business collaboration models.
