Recently, EVE Energy has signed a formal agreement with India-based Godawari New Energy Private Limited (GNEPL) for an 8GWh order of large-scale energy storage batteries, with a potential cooperation volume of up to 60GWh over the next five years. The deal not only reflects the long-term strategic trust between the two parties but also marks a key breakthrough for EVE Energy’s large-format storage batteries in the South Asian market.
As one of the fastest-growing new energy markets globally, India is poised for large-scale energy storage deployment. With the rapid increase in renewable energy penetration, the need for grid stability, frequency regulation, and peak-load management has become increasingly prominent, positioning energy storage as a critical infrastructure for the energy transition. At the same time, the Indian market demands high long-term reliability, cost-effective operation and maintenance, and localized adaptability from storage products.
The 628Ah large-format storage battery under this cooperation is designed with high safety, high reliability, and ultra-simplified integration. It significantly reduces system complexity and total life-cycle costs while improving operational efficiency at storage power plants, closely meeting India’s demand for efficient, stable, and sustainable energy storage solutions.
The 8GWh agreement signing marks a solid start to the strategic synergy between EVE Energy and GNEPL. The planned 60GWh cooperation over the next five years reflects GNEPL’s strong confidence in EVE’s product strength and delivery capabilities. Both companies will leverage their respective advantages to jointly advance the deployment of energy storage projects in India, unlock long-term value, and support the transformation of the local energy structure.
Currently, EVE Energy operates eleven production bases worldwide. Domestically, the company has established a production capacity footprint spanning Huizhou, Hubei, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Yunnan, and Zhejiang, etc. Internationally, EVE has taken the lead in global expansion, having built a battery production base in Malaysia and is actively advancing the construction of its factory project in Hungary.
