EVE Energy recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Spanish renewable energy company CEGASA ENERGIA S.L.U. (“CEGASA”) for strategic collaboration. Under the agreement, the two companies will engage in deep cooperation in the energy storage sector between 2026 and 2028, jointly developing and deploying storage projects with a total capacity of 1 GWh.
The partnership covers a range of commercial, industrial, and utility-scale energy storage projects. EVE Energy will provide CEGASA with advanced, safe, and reliable battery product solutions along with related technical support, helping improve operational efficiency and enabling localized services for end customers.
Against the backdrop of Europe’s ongoing energy transition and strong growth in energy storage demand, this collaboration combines EVE Energy’s leading technology with CEGASA’s nearly century-long local operational experience in Spain, creating a win-win model of “technology leadership + local insight.”
Starting with this partnership, both parties will actively promote EVE’s CLS global cooperation model, advance localized manufacturing, and jointly explore opportunities in the European energy storage market to deliver more competitive clean energy solutions.
Through this in-depth cooperation with CEGASA, EVE Energy will further strengthen its strategic presence in the European market.
