On January 3, South Korean company DA Tech announced the signing of an exclusive contract with Vietnam Graphite Group Limited (VGG) for natural graphite. Through this contract, DA Tech obtains exclusive import and distribution rights for VGG’s 99.97% pure natural graphite in the South Korean market.

The two companies, having signed an agreement in December 2023 regarding the distribution and import-export business of natural graphite, finalized the contract after discussing detailed terms for establishing a joint venture.

According to the contract, the two companies plan to establish a joint venture to engage in the import-export business of graphite mined, processed, and refined in Vietnam.

VGG plans to supply DA Tech with a minimum of 20,000 tons of natural graphite annually, utilizing its existing graphite mines and processing facilities. DA Tech will have exclusive import and distribution rights in the South Korean market for the 99.97% pure natural graphite mined, crushed, and refined by VGG.

DA Tech intends to jointly invest in production facilities, including processing plants of graphite refining and smelting, to expand graphite capacity (CAPA) and refine high-purity graphite.
