On January 1, BYD disclosed its latest production and sales report. The report revealed that in December 2023, the company’s sales of new energy vehicles reached 341,000 units, once again reaching a new record. In 2023, BYD’s total annual sales of new energy vehicles accumulated to 3.0244 million units, achieving the previously set annual sales target of 3 million units.

Looking back to the past year, “innovation” and “internationalization” have become the two key words for BYD’s annual development. In terms of innovation, BYD established sub-brands and launched new products in various segmented markets, introducing new models such as the Denza N8 and the Yangwang U8. In terms of internationalization, BYD’s monthly international sales data reached new highs, with an annual overseas sales volume of approximately 242,800 units, making it the “second growth pole” for BYD’s sales.
